  Plot Summary: In the eerie and remote countryside of South Korea, Dr. Ji-Hyun Park, a renowned forensic archaeologist, is called to investigate a newly discovered burial site. This site, located near an ancient village with a dark history, is rumoured to be the final resting place of victims of a forgotten plague that ravaged the area centuries ago. As Ji-Hyun and her team begin their excavation, they are met with hostility and fear from the local villagers, who believe the site is cursed. The villagers tell tales of the "exhuma," restless spirits doomed to walk the earth because of the violent and sacrilegious acts committed against them in life. Despite these warnings, Ji-Hyun is driven by her scientific curiosity and determination to uncover the truth. The excavation quickly reveals a series of disturbing discoveries.
